It’s times for a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This weeks sketch hostess is the fabulously talented Linda Callahan. Make sure you head over Linda’s to see her gorgeous creations.

I love Linda’s sketch and how easy it was to work with. I’ve added texture and kept the strips of DSP the same. I added images from the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set. These images have been lightly coloured with my blends.

Hey Everyone

It’s Friday, so that means we have a new challenge for you to play along with over at Just Add Ink. This week our challenge is an inspiration picture challenge. I just love the colours in these pics.

I’ve combined a couple of stamp sets here – the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set and the retired Notes of Nature Stamp Set. The Notes of Nature stamps gave me the typed background that were in some of the photos.

I then stamped the images from the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set and lightly coloured them with a combination of my brown and ivory blends. Each of the images were fussy cut out and layered over the stamped background.

I then chose a piece of Nests of Winter DSP as it matched the neutral tones I was going for.
