Freshly Made Sketches #611

Hey Everyone

Time for a new challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch hostess is the fabulously talented Jacquie Southas.

This sketch is such a cool one. I had the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set on my desk from another project, so I thought I’d give it a go for this card as well.

I’ve kept all neutral tones as this card can be used for a male or female. The designer series paper I’ve used is from the Country Lace DSP pack.

Make sure you head over to the challenge and see what the team have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

I’m not done with using the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set and Seaside Wishes Dies- it’s one of my favs. I’ve used the following colours for my card:

  • Pecan Pie
  • Crumb Cake
  • Early Espresso

The DSP square I’ve cut are from the Country Woods DSP pack. I created some underwater foliage by trimming some Early Espresso Cardstock. I gave them some texture by scrunching them up in my hand.

Freshly Made Sketches #637

Hey Everyone

Welcome to the newest sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch designer is Karren Johnson who is the creator of all things gorgeous.

I am still loving the Seaside Wishes Stamp Set….. I can’t help but want to reach it for it every time I want to create atm…

I’ve combined the following colours for this card – Pretty Peacock, Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie. The squares I’ve added are from a discarded piece of cardstock that i had laying on my desk. This piece was embossed with the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder that was shaded with Pool Party Ink to make the embossed areas stand out.

Make sure you head over to the challenge and see what the team have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Add Ink #699

Hey Everyone

Time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink! This weeks challenge is at Just Add Ink is to create a project using the following colours:

I wanted to created a card that may not be the usual colour combo for an underwater creation. I was itching to use the Seaside Wishes Bundle again so I made the challenge colours work for this weeks challenge.

I started by embossing the background with my new Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder. I then took a blending brush and Coastal Cabana Ink and applied ink over the embossing.

I then took the stones like stamp and stamped a path of stones in Starry Sky Ink. The starfish were also inked up in Starry Sky Ink, stamped and fussy cut out. The shells were then stamped in Berry Burst Ink and also fussy cut out.

I layered my embossed/stamped cardstock over a piece of Starry Sky Cardstock and this was then adhered to a Coastal Cabana Cardstock base.

The team at Just Add Ink have created wonderful cards using this weeks challenge colours. Make sure you head over to Just Add Ink and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.
