Hey Everyone
It’s Friday, so that means we have a new challenge at Just Add Ink for you. Our challenge for you is to:
I’m going through a bit of a watercolour background phase on my cards. This week I’ve created a watery type background with my Stampin’ Up Watercolor Pencil.
What image goes with a blue watercoloured background? A lighthouse from High Tide and three fussy cut seagulls. The lighthouse and seagulls are from High Tide. The lighthouse is stamped in Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate. I then added some grass that is also fussy cut and placed around my lighthouse. The sentiment I’ve used is from For You to finish off my card I added some Black Bakers Twine.
Here’s my card:
The team at Just Add Ink have created the most creative cards I’ve seen using this weeks theme. Head over to Just Add Ink and take a look.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
This is gorgeous Narelle! I keep umming and ahhing over getting High Tide, but your lovely card does is such justice x
Not even a single flower on this card! Still, it’s another masterpiece …Love how you popped the small details up (the seagulls, the grass bouquets, …)
This is gorgeous!!!! I love your water coloring and all the details you added!!
Probably the best card I’ve ever seen for a masuline birthday! I shall be CASE’ing it for my hubby’s birthday, he loves the ocean.
Your blue background is beautifully atmospheric Narelle and I just love all the fussy cut accents you added so worth the trouble!!! xxx
Your card is fabulous, Narelle. I love the way that the watercolour background isn’t a solid block – it adds movement to the scene. Love it!
Love the hazy look of the watercolour pencil background & your usual perfect element placement, Narelle.
Hugs, D
