Hey Everyone
It’s Wednesday, so that means a new sketch challenge to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch has been designed by Linda Callahan. Linda’s card are always perfect with the best images and matching sentiments. Even though I had Linda’s sketch in front of me, I kinda stuck the middle strip under the circle – but I figure it was close enough – and hope she forgives me….
The stamp set I’ve decorated my card with is called Beauty of the Deep Stamp Set. I’ve also used die cuts from the matching Beauty of the Deep Dies. I created a sort of port hole by using circle dies and small dots cut with one of my expired tag punches. This little circle is the hole that was cut out of the top of the tag. I added this blue strip of DSP from the Countryside Inn DSP pack because it felt a bit nautical to me with the stripes.
The team have created awesome cards with this weeks sketch. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what they’ve created.
Thanks for stopping by.
Cheers
Narelle
Love your sea themed card and that cute porthole. I also put my strip underneath, so we can be in the dog house together. Really lovely color combinations! I’m headed to the beach in two days, so it’s especially hitting my heart!
This is beautiful and so creative! The nautical theme is great!
Okay my friend, this is gorgeous! I just love that nautical theme! All the elements are perfect! You are just so creative!
Love how you turned this sketch into a nautical card! I’m always looking for ways to do that.
Gorgeous card and images! I also stuck the strip under the circle so we can be rebels together 🙂
Love all the nautical details on this! Classic Narelle elegance with a masculine vibe.
Such a lovely nautical scene, Narelle! I love this amazing layering of seaweeds and anchor.
