I managed to find some time this weekend to play along with the latest challenge at Global Design Project. This week their project with the theme – love.

I chose to use the word love with my die cut sentiments from the Love For You Dies. I cut them in Basic Black Cardstock and matted them with Basic White Cardstock. I love all colour combinations paired with Basic Black Cardstock as I think any colour pops against it.

I stamped these gorgeous flowers from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set and watercoloured them with a combination of Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay Inks. The centre off the flowers were coloured with the Light Pumpkin Pie Blend. The leaves were watercoloured with Granny Apple Green Ink and fussy cut out.

The two of the three strips of paper in the background are from the Dandy Designs DSP pack and one strip is Coastal Cabana Cardstock.

The background Basic White Cardstock was shaded with Coastal Cabana Ink and a Blending Brush. I flicked ink on to the cardstock also with the Light Bermuda Bay Blend. A single Basic Pearl Rhinestone was added as a final touch.
