Just Add Ink #727

Hey Everyone

Ready for a new challenge at Just Add Ink? I am! This week our challenge is a sketch challenge:

I used this weeks sketch to create a festive card for my stash. I’ve inked up the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set and stamped the trees in Garden Green and Wild Wheat Inks. I love how Wild Wheat looks liike gold. Because of the goldish tones of the ink, I added a strip of DSP from the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper pack.

To the cluster of trees, I added a reindeer that has been coloured with my blends. This reindeer is from the Reindeer Fun Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by.

Freshly Made Sketches #659

Hey Everyone

It’s time for a new sketch challenge to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch designer is the wonderfully talented amy O’Neill. Take a look at her sketch:

I used the Winterly Tree Tops Stamp Set for my card and coloured my birds with a few of my blue blends. I added some tree branches made with the Frosted Forest Dies. I then fussy cut some pine cones from the Nests of Winter DSP to give me the circle shapes from the sketch.

The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created awesome cards using Amy’s sketch. Make sure you head over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Add Ink #723

Hey Everyone

We have a new challenge for you to play along with at Just Add Ink. This week our challenge for you is to:

I’ve chosen to use trees and circles for my card. The trees are from the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set. The circles have been added by the way of a circle diecut and also circles in the embossing folder I’ve used to emboss the white cardstock in the background. This embossing folder is called Dotted Circles Embossing Folder. Circle galore basically.

Just Add Ink #721

Hey Everyone

It’s Friday, so that means we have a new challenge for you to play along with over at Just Add Ink. This week our challenge is an inspiration picture challenge. I just love the colours in these pics.

I’ve combined a couple of stamp sets here – the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set and the retired Notes of Nature Stamp Set. The Notes of Nature stamps gave me the typed background that were in some of the photos.

I then stamped the images from the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set and lightly coloured them with a combination of my brown and ivory blends. Each of the images were fussy cut out and layered over the stamped background.

I then chose a piece of Nests of Winter DSP as it matched the neutral tones I was going for.

Make sure you head over to Just Add Ink and see what the team have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Add Ink #719

Hey Everyone

Welcome to the newest challenge at Just add Ink. This week our challenge for you is to:

How fresh is this colour combo? I used most of the pinks in my birds as well as a touch of Shaded Spruce on the wings.

I added some foliage but kept it pretty clean instead of colouring it.

Make sure you head over to Just Add Ink and see what the team have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Add Ink #715

Hey Everyone

The newest challenge at Just Add Ink is for you to

I kinda went really simple as I had no time to think more creatively over the weekend.

I took a piece of scrap cardstock that I had diecut a circle out of with my Stylish Shapes Dies. I used this as a mask and shaded the exposed cardstock with Pecan Pie Ink. I kept the shading darker around the edges and kept the centre of the circle lighter. I then took my Dark Basic Black Blend and flicked ink over over the circle.

I already had these butterflies coloured and fussy cut out from another project, so all I had to do was adhere them to the cardstock. Along with the leafy diecut. These butterflies are from the Sketches Butterflies Stamp Set.

Just Add Ink #711

Hey Everyone

Friday means a new challenge at Just Add Ink to play along with. This week our challenge for you is to :

Two Christmas cards in two days means I’m on a role!. Again I’ve used products from the Season of Green and Gold Suite. The papers are from the Season of Green and Gold DSP pack. I took the Golden Greenery Dies and diecut the leaves from the papers in this pack. They have been raised with dimensionals as I like height to my cards.

I created a tag that I scored on my paper trimmer and made creases. This has been tied on with gold trim. To add the red element to my card, I stamped up two bells from the Golden Greenery Stamp Set and fussy cut them out.

Thanks for stopping by.

Just Add Ink #709

Hey Everyone

It’s time for a new challenge at Just Add Ink. This week our challenge for you is to:

I’ve chosen 3 of the challenge colours. I was going to go with all 6, but got too lazy to think about how to incorporate all 6.

The stamp set I’ve used for my card is called the Leaves Collection Stamp Set. There is one large stamp in this set that has a combination of different leaves of varied sizes. I stamped up the leaves in Gorgeous Grape Ink and then stamped a second time with Highland Heather Ink.

The 3rd colour I chose was Misty Moonlight. I used this colour for the sentiment.

The team have created awesome inspiration for you. Make sure you head over to the challenge and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.
