Freshly Made Sketches #642

Hey everyone

Ready for a new sketch challenge to play along with at Freshly Made Sketches?

This week our sketch hostess is the uber talented Jen Mitchell. Jen’s creations are just awesome with clean lines and perfect choice of colours.

I may’ve slightly gotten my card a tad wrong as I missed adding the the strip across my card – altho I could maybe say there is almost a row of fussy cut grass that I’ve added?

As soon as i saw the wavy line on the sketch, i knew i wanted to get out my Beach Day Stamp Set and Dies. They have a wavy edgelit die that sorta created a line like Jen’s sketch. I then set about creating the images to fit the space on the card.

I stamped surfboards and colours them all with my blends. I then diecut palm trees and arranged all my images until i was happy with the result.

The team have created awesome projects that will inspire you. Head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what they’ve created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers

Freshly Made Sketches #628

Hey Everyone

Guess whose week it is to be sketch hostess at Freshly Made Sketches? With a question like that, it’s gotta be me right?

Take a look at my sketch:

The Beach Day Bundle was a bundle I wanted, but have held off buying until just recently to buy. It’s not my usual flowery set, but it appealed to me because of the vibe and cool artwork. We have holidayed at the beach since I was young. I have continued this traditional with my kids and love the calmness of just watching the waves come in. This is one set that I will probably keep for those friends and fam that surf.

Here’s my card:

Make sure you head over to Freshly Made Sketches and see what the team have created.

Thanks for stopping by.
