TGIF Challenge #433

Hey Everyone

Made a card on the weekend and only just remembered I forgot to upload it! This card has been made for the TGIF Challenge. This week is their sketch challenge week.

The card I created features images from the Beauty of the Deep Stamp Set. I added a coral stamp to the background and flicks with the Dark Basic Black Blend. I then added some leaves that had been discarded from another project. The anchor I added was also sitting in my discarded images. Some twine was added as well as a stamped sentiment from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by.

Global Design Project #405

Hey Everyone

Love my weekends when I can craft, this weekend wasn’t one of them. I did however manage to get one card made. I created this card for the latest colour challenge at Global Design Project.

The card I created features butterflies from the Night of Flight Stamp Set combined with leaves from the Gorgeously Made Stamp Set. The leaves were stamped in Wild Wheat and fussy cut out. The butterflies were shaded with my Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path Blends.

Thanks for stopping by.

Freshly Made Sketches #588

Hey Everyone

Welcome to the newest sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches. This week our sketch has been designed by the super talented Jen Mitchell.

Take a look at her cool sketch.

I’ve gone with a birthday card with balloons and big birthday sentiment.

I started this card by choosing the Gold Celebrations Speciality Designer Series Paper and cut it on the diagonal to fit across the card. The gold on this vellum like paper had me reaching for Wild Wheat and Pebbled Path Inks for my balloons. These balloons have been stamped from the Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set.

The sentiment was stamped in Pebbled Path Ink. The sentiment is from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set.I love the size of these sentiments in this stamp set and I also love that they are a mix of solid and script fonts.

The team at Freshly Made Sketches have created awesome cards. Head over to the challenge and see what they have created.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cheers
